Twilight Photography
Dusk exteriors shot in the short window when the sky still has color and the house lights are on — consistently among the most clicked images on a listing.

A twilight photo does something no daytime frame can: it makes a house look lived in and warm. Interior lights glow through the windows, landscape lighting picks out the palms and the drive, and the sky behind the roofline carries real color. It is the image agents lead with, and it is the one buyers remember.
Twilight is genuinely time-constrained. The usable window is short — roughly the period after the sun drops but before the sky goes flat — so a twilight shoot is scheduled around that window rather than around the rest of the day. The property needs every interior light on, exterior and landscape lighting running, and the front of the house clear.
Virtual twilight is also available as an alternative: a daytime exterior converted in editing to a dusk sky. It costs less and does not require a second visit, and it is a sensible option when the schedule or the weather will not allow a true twilight shoot. A real twilight photograph looks better, and when there is time for one, it is worth it.
Who it is for
Higher-priced listings, homes with strong landscape or pool lighting, waterfront property, and any listing that needs a standout lead photo.
What to expect
Scheduling is driven by sunset rather than by business hours. Every interior light should be on and all exterior lighting running before the window opens, because there is no opportunity to reshoot once it closes.
